BlockMed works as a standard and a digital identity platform based on SSI, enabling user onboarding and the validation of identities and credentials across the healthcare system. Through its SSI application, professionals and patients generate their digital identity (DID), receive verifiable credentials issued by authorized entities —such as professional associations or healthcare providers— and present them securely in each interaction.
BlockMed does not store personal information; it simply provides the decentralized infrastructure that allows every identity and credential to be verified in real time as authentic, valid, and up to date, supporting trustworthy workflows both in person and online.
